Body Positive nerd rockabilly lady who has two kitty cats, Catanova & Sheldon. I love classic cars, food, music, and art. I love who I am and what I am becoming. I try to keep this a positive place but let's face it, I'm only human.
I love Star Trek and Star Wars but Firefly is the best. I grew up listening to all types of music: Chuck Berry and Dixie Chicks. When I can I paint and my sketch book is always with me: Dali, Frida, and O'Keeffe. I collect many many many books: J.D. Salinger and Jane Austen. And my motto for clothing is "if I can fit in it and I like it, I'll make it work". Attitude and staying posi is what helped me get passed what others put me threw. You are your own kind of beautiful and don't let others tell you differently.
Being from Tennessee& living here all my life can hold many stories. I’ve seen the town I have grown up in turn into a sprawling city. My family is from here& they remember the first stop light being put up. Even the first stop sign. I even remember it being a nice size town& the Wal-Mart was smaller than a football field. Course, sadly, there are two of them. I remember Castner Knott, which is now Dillards. Anyway…
Things change, just like the weather. Winter is really no more because we have entered into tornado season again. The air is a little warmer but still chilly. There will be no more snow, hopefully. Which means that the dreadful humid will be here in a few short months. I hate humid weather, I would prefer to live in Texas. I can breathe there. But that’s not the point. All day yesterday& into today we ave been under a tornado watch. I kind of enjoy this kind of weather but terrified at the same time. Over the past 3 years my county was hit hard with tornado’s. Tearing apart homes& businesses. Throwing around trees& whatever else was in it’s path. Sometimes for the good but most of the time for the bad. Flooding& tornado’s have to be the worst part about living in Middle Tennessee. Course it could be just about anywhere really. It never gets old but always keeps you on your toes.
