Being from Tennessee& living here all my life can hold many stories. I’ve seen the town I have grown up in turn into a sprawling city. My family is from here& they remember the first stop light being put up. Even the first stop sign. I even remember it being a nice size town& the Wal-Mart was smaller than a football field. Course, sadly, there are two of them. I remember Castner Knott, which is now Dillards. Anyway…
Things change, just like the weather. Winter is really no more because we have entered into tornado season again. The air is a little warmer but still chilly. There will be no more snow, hopefully. Which means that the dreadful humid will be here in a few short months. I hate humid weather, I would prefer to live in Texas. I can breathe there. But that’s not the point. All day yesterday& into today we ave been under a tornado watch. I kind of enjoy this kind of weather but terrified at the same time. Over the past 3 years my county was hit hard with tornado’s. Tearing apart homes& businesses. Throwing around trees& whatever else was in it’s path. Sometimes for the good but most of the time for the bad. Flooding& tornado’s have to be the worst part about living in Middle Tennessee. Course it could be just about anywhere really. It never gets old but always keeps you on your toes.
